Website Optimisation Services

Service Terms Summary

1. Service overview

These terms apply to all website optimisation services provided by KN Digital, including one-off audits and fix sprints, as well as ongoing monthly optimisation plans.

Services focus on improving user experience (UX), conversion rate optimisation (CRO), performance, accessibility, SEO hygiene, and minor functional elements. All services are delivered on a best-endeavours basis and are productised rather than bespoke engagements.

 

2. Scope of services

Depending on the service selected, work may include:

  • UX and conversion reviews and recommendations

  • CRO improvements (layout, structure, copy clarity, CTAs)

  • Performance, speed, security, and accessibility checks and fixes

  • SEO hygiene and metadata updates

  • Minor functional fixes and refinements

  • Prioritised optimisation tasks based on impact and feasibility

The exact scope and delivery window are defined on the relevant service page or checkout.

 

Exclusions

Unless explicitly agreed in writing, services do not include:

  • Full website redesigns or replatforming

  • New page builds or large-scale development

  • Complex integrations or custom feature development

  • Content production at scale

  • Guaranteed performance, traffic, or conversion outcomes

Any work outside scope may be quoted separately.

 

3. Delivery and prioritisation

For one-off services, work is delivered within the stated sprint or audit timeframe.

For monthly services, work is delivered continuously throughout each active billing period. Tasks are prioritised based on impact and feasibility. Due to the nature of optimisation work, not all recommendations or improvements will be implemented within a single period.

 

4. Fees and payment

  • One-off services are payable in full upfront and are non-refundable once work has commenced.

  • Monthly services are billed monthly in advance at the agreed rate. Fees are non-refundable once the billing period has started.

All prices are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.

 

5. Cancellation

  • One-off services cannot be cancelled once work has started.

  • Monthly services are cancel anytime with 30 days’ written notice. Work will continue through the final paid billing period.

 

6. No guarantees

While services are designed to improve website performance and conversion potential, no specific outcomes or results are guaranteed. All services are provided on a best-endeavours basis.

 

7. Client responsibilities

The client is responsible for providing timely access to:

  • website platforms, hosting, and CMS

  • analytics, tracking, and relevant third-party tools

  • content, approvals, and feedback where required

Delays in access or feedback may impact delivery timelines.

 

8. Intellectual property

The client owns the final outputs and changes implemented on their website.

KN Digital retains ownership of all underlying methods, frameworks, processes, templates, tooling, and know-how used to deliver the services.

 

9. Liability

The total liability of [Your Agency Name] arising from any service is limited to the fees paid by the client for the service in the three months preceding the claim. Liability for indirect or consequential loss is excluded.

 

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
